I'm thinking of making pickled cucumbers/onions for this weekend. Does anyone know if splenda and vinegar blends well? The receipe calls for same parts of vinegar/water/sugar. Thanks for the help...

I buy "no sugar added" bread and butter pickles and they use Splenda with vinegar. Should be ok.

They do mix well...I make my grandmothers potato salad dressing with it...the normal recipe calls for sugar, vinegar, and miracle whip, with alittle paprika, but I use the splenda instead and it tastes exactly the same. It melts in the vinegar just as regular sugar does. Denise

I use Splenda and Rice Vinegar together. It actually dissolves in the vinegar better than sugar. Don't freak out, it gets fizzy and then just disappears! Works great. Is there anything better than Splenda?? Enjoy! Cheryl

that sounds sooo good, how do you make that? I would love something different for my table and family. Thanks, Laury

I make a salad dressing that has Spenda and cider vinegar (along with other things) and it turns out fine. You should be OK! Good luck! ~ * Alice Ann * ~ -88 lbs
