Anyone experiencing water retention?  My fingers, hands, face, etc are fine, but I seem to be retaining water in my legs and ankles.  I'm not on HBP meds or diabetics meds, but am currently on a statin, thyroid meds, and an antidepressant.

I have gained a little back in the last few months, but it seems this is something other than fat.

low protein levels can cause that.. or statins.. or both together..

There is an OH member whose username is Sarahlicious.  She knows SO much about swelling and such.  You may want to look her up.

good luck

How long ago did you last have labs, and can you post your results here? My first thought was low protein, but we'll need to see a COMPLETE set of labs to really help you.

My second though was insufficient fluid intake. How many ounces do you get in, EVERY day?

Vein trouble and gravity can cause edema in legs too. The more you can keep them elevated, the better they will be.
