I've been sleeved: 3/11
You can officially welcome me to the club: I've been sleeved on March 11th and released from the hospital in under 48 hours after the operation. I was the last surgery of the day (around 7PM) and they decided to do it manually instead of using the robot. So my surgery ended up being 45 minutes only. I've got 5 holes and seem to be doing good. I am trying to do this on as little pain killers as possible and it is actually not that bad. It sucks to get up from sitting or lying down position, but other than that it is not horrible. My last (3rd) dose was right before I left the hospital on the 13th.
Can't say I am hungry, just listening carefully to my body and paying attention to every gurgle I get. No vomiting to date, which I am very thankful for.
So here I am starting my journey one day at a time. Wooo Hooo! :)
Congratulations! You got sleeved the same day as I was but were out probably sooner. It was a full 13 hrs after surgery before I was even aware of my surroundings. Then I had bad nausea, followed by low oxygen levels, but was finally released late on the 13th, also. I don't have too much pain either. I do feel some heartburn most times after I drink, but I'm hoping that's only temporary.
So glad you are doing so well!
