They weren't concerned and said it's probably stress related and will calm down once I do. lol

I feel pretty dang calm. So the words should follow suit soon.

If I were you, I would not be asking my WLS surgeon about this.  I'd already have been to see a neurologist.  This could be a serious issue.

My son stutters and it gets worse when he has to have surgery, is under stress, or when his "normal" changes. After time has passed or he settles down it gets better. Perhaps your stutter was brought on by the changes that you are undergoing. Best Wishes!
