Hi! I'm new to the message board. I need help. Tuesday I was 5 weeks post op from the gastric sleeve. I lost 17lbs in the first two weeks post op but now it's been there weeks and I haven't lost a pound. I measure my food, try my hardest to get the recommended protein and eat the amount I am supposed too although I feel like I can eat more. Has anyone else had this problem or can anyone help. Thanks so much!!!

Stalls are very common, especially early out. (Although technically it ISN'T a stall until you've gone 4 weeks without losing either pounds OR inches.) You're perfectly normal.

go to the search function at the top of the page the little magnifying glass looking icon. Search 3 week stall, 5 week stall and you'll see you are very much in the norm. You may also want to post in your surgery forum to get more support based on your surgery type

Search for things like no weight loss, stalls, plateau.  There are literally hundreds of threads asking this. Completely normal.

Highest 290, Banded - 248   Lowest 139 (too thin!). Comfort zone 155-165.

Happily banded since May 2006.  Regain of 28lbs 2013-14.  ALL GONE!

But some has returned! Up to 175, argh! Off we go again,
