1 week post-op: Too much Jello?

Is there such thing as eating too much sugar-free Jello after gastric bypass? I'm shoveling it down like drinking water, because it's the only semi-food that I can chew while the family is eating real food. I know it's not exactly eating, but I have to at least pretend. At one week post-op, is this dangerous? THe doc says SF Jello and popsicles are fine, but I worry I'm going to stretch my pouch. Advice?

just wanted to share a trick. I brewed Chai tea and used it to make my sf jello. I started with lemon. OMG is that a wonderful flavor!! I used 3 cups of tea and 1 cup of cold water. Yummy. My new favorite!!\

I am fairly certain you cannot eat too much SF Jello! Eat until your heart is content! Enjoy! Just make sure you are walking and drinking your protein and water too! LOL!

To believe that you must hide all the parts of you that are broken, out of fear that someone else is incapable of loving what is less than perfect, is to believe that sunlight is incapable of entering a broken window and illuminating a dark room.”― Marc Hack

I don't think that sugar free jello is going to hurt you, but I do think that you need to think about your need to eat every time others are eating.

You might want to just sit and talk with your family, sip some water and start adjusting to that.

They will eat more and more frequently than you will .. And you need to get used to not eating just because others are.

It's a liquid.  It won't stay in the pouch long at all.  You can't stretch your pouch with liquids.
