This is my very first post but I have been looking on here faithfully since November. My surgery is scheduled for May 5th and I am excited and nervous at the same time. I'm on the pre-op liquid diet and today has been rough. I was able to get my protein shakes and water in but it was a struggle. Any suggestions on getting through the liquid phase?

For me, and many I think, getting through the first 3-4 days is the hardest part.  After that the carb (and other) cravings subside and it gets easier.  So stick with it!  You can do it.
