One year Surgiversary!!

Today is my one year Surgiversary! Can not believe an entire year has gone by! Any WoW, what I great year! No regrets, would do it again in a heartbeat! My surgeon said during my appointment today, that I was his poster child for RNY! Last year during my 1 wk appointment my NP had me write down three goals that i wanted to achieve in my first year. They were: #1 be able to fasten the seatbelt on an airplane in May! Check! I took pictures and posted it on FB! How funny! #2 be able to start running again! I had not ran since college! Hubby and I started a couch to 5k eight weeks ago and finished last Friday! We run our first 5k officially this Sat! #3 to weigh less than 170lbs on my 1 yr check up!! AND today I weighed 169.3! I remember my NP saying that goal maybe a bit high! But I did it!
