Feeling I am getting there

I had my RNY on April 15th 2014... it seemed like I would never be in a significant place for losing weight.. it was moving SO slow at times. But here I sit.. a total of 70# down.. and feeling absolutely amazing. I don't regret it at all. I am starting to feel like I can "eat a little more" and was wondering if this is normal? I mean for the LONGEST time I could only eat very small amounts. I am starting to worry that I will eat too much.. I was getting used to not eating much.. I am so nervous.

Congratulations on your weight loss.  Our surgeries are only a tool, we also have to use the first year to learn new ways of eating healthy, moving, how to handle red flags.  In other words the surgery alone is not going to keep the weight off, you and the surgery will.  Journal and attend support meetings, you can do this!  It's hard work but as you said, so worth it.
