I'm super excited that I'm being discharged.   I feel pretty good overall.  Still have a bit of gas pains.  Any ideas on how to force it out?  I ate a whole 4 Oz jello today over an hour.  It worried me that I comfortably was able to eat that much but my surgeon said that was not really food but still a drink so it's normal and good.  Shew.  I am gonna worry myself with each little thing.  Thank goodness for this site.  One other question. ...can I snuck on sugar free cough drop or lozenge? My mouth is so dry and I can't hold enough water to feel quenched.

Thanks,

chanel

To get rid of the gas pain, you need to move.  Moving will move it LOL.

For dry mouth, suck on ice.  That will give you a little bit more water but help with your dry mouth.

Congrats on being discharged and being a post op!

Congratulations! I would stick with sipping water slowly and or ice cubes. Good luck.
