Just for the heck of it: how long have you been on OH?

The OP is talking about weight loss surgery veterans. 

"Vets" refers to veteran weight loss surgery folks - those of us who are several years post-op.

Sigh . . .I don't even READ all the posts. The posts about stalls/plateaus alone are enough to make my head throb.

Like Bette I've been around forever prolly started sometime in 2006, had my band put in (worst mistake in my life) Oct 2007, band out Feb this year and I'm still here! Just because I no longer have WLS doesn't mean I can't still learn besides after 7-8 yrs it's a habit, good or bad. Love to see some more old timers post!

Nope not an old timer, still a newbie, got baby drool on my shirt LOL. I got into OH back in December of last year when I was in lurker mode & just starting the wls process with a seminar I went to in the same month. Fast forward to the end of April the following year when I got vsg surgery & I still hang out on the boards giving my 2 cents every now & then.

I'm a journeyman--that is less than five years out, for those unfamiliar with the term (or ronin, if you prefer). I've been here for a bit over three years. I stumbled across this site when I was home recovering and bored.

I joined November 15,2008. So 6 years. Had surgery March 2010. 

I joined in December 2004, had my surgery 1/27/04.  I ebb and flow as to activity here, but I always do enjoy reading and keeping up.

I joined in 2003 and had surgery in 2007.  My logonid got "broken" last year and I had to create a new one.  Still maintaining.  Could never have done it without RNY.  I never went back to eating like I used to.  I could do it, but don't ever want to be obese again.
