Spammers

Hey;  how do I get OH mods?  There's someone inviting me to contact them offline at another website.  I deleted their message, but it would be nice to have them deleted entirely.

Actually, there's two people doing the same thing.

"Nigerian princes"?  "Russian beauties wanting forever friend"??

Yuck.

scroll all the way down to the bottom of any page and there is a " contact us" link.

Hmm, I got a message from someone asking me to email them separately so they can send me pics. I told them no, they can communicate via OH. They also just joined today...

But no promises of riches from foreign lotteries... Dang it, I was feeling lucky too!

Well, they did it again!

These fools never give up.

Unfortunately we become targets of these spamers just by being on these open forums.  I used to get all pissy and try to block/report but if you behave like a smart fish & don't bite...they move on very quickly.  I rarely get these enticing invitations to share pictures or have to read a pathetic story how they need assistance to pay for 'surgery' any longer.

Yup that's the one I got!

I asked her what kind of pictures. If they're pictures of fuzzy baby kittens, I'm all in!

I got that one too - looks like the member has already deactivated...or been deactivated by the mods. 

When you open a message, there's a icon of three little dots in the top-right corner. Click on that, then "mark as spam" and the mods will be notified.

I just noticed I got the same message...  I'm deleting it...
