Choc Isopure--Can it be heated for hot cocoa?

I'm freezing! I usually drink Chocolate Low Carb Isopure as a cold drink. Can the water be heated before adding to the Isopure to make a hot cocoa? I'm wondering if the heated water would harm the protein in the drink. Bariatriceating.com (where I get most of the protein) says you can heat the water when mixed with Matrix and Elite, but doesn't mention this for Isopure. Does anyone know? I don't want to destroy the protein/vitamin/mineral content -- that's why I'm drinking it! Thanks.

I read somewhere that when using protein with a hot drink, not to heat over 130 degrees. I'll usually take a 10 oz mug of water, nuke it in the microwave for a minute and a half then add my protein in and mix. If you get it to hot, the protein turns kind of leathery and I'm thinking you won't get your money's worth out of it. Pam

I don't know the consistency of Isopure, but my GNC 100% Whey Protein makes a wonderful cup of hot cocoa. I nuke my water and while the water is nuking, I shake my protein with a few ounces of 2% Milk. Makes it nice and creamy and it is delish. I do this twice a day...........
