I was wondering if anyone had any regrets with the surgery!  Only thing I don't like about the surgery years later is how u absorb stuff!  Your options seem to be more limited.

I regret waiting so long to do it. It's been one of the best decisions of my entire life. I can't think of one negative which outweighs any positives that come with the surgery.

That was my BIG question before the surgery. I kept wondering if I would regret it. No one in my family had ever done such a thing and I didn't know many people who have had the surgery, so I thought.  After I had my surgery, people came out of the wood works who have had the surgery. For me, Nope. no regrets.  Just wished I had done it sooner, though.

I've been robbed! My grandbaby stole my heart!  She just raised her hands and I surrendered.

6 months post op and don't regret anything. I'm over 100 lighter,  and smaller than I've been in 20 years.  I'd do it again tomorrow if I had to choose again.

Nope, no regrets. I'll say I'm not one of those people who says they wish they did it earlier. I think I picked the perfect time in my life to be able to adopt the changes necessary with this surgery.

I would not have had the maturity to be successful. I barely have that now!

The only crazy thought of regrets I've had when I was out of control  that I couldn't have a whole pizza. Haha.

Definitely no regrets going on 5 years with my sleeve.

My only regret is not treating the mental aspects of wls as seriously as the physical part. I believe treating both is needed for long term success.

I'm not the I regret not getting wls earlier because earlier I wasn't ready for anything other than lap band, then my ins changed & it wasn't covered. Flash forward years later, all forms of wls covered & my understanding of each one significantly increased. VSG best fit for me. No regrets.
