I keep getting triple and quadruple notification emails for the same post. Is this happening to anyone else?

I am. I get the notifications and then when I actually come on here and check it off under the bell icon I get another email. Weird

On a potentially related note, I've gotten several 'site down' /error 404 notifications today as well.

Yes, especially on photo comments, but a few times on forum responses, too.

I tried to trash all my old notifications and not only did they come back but they re-sent email notifications!

Me too! I got several hundred new email notifications. Boy, that sucked. And I have gotten a 504 error message quite a few times today... could not post my menu because I could not get on. Seems to be better at night. Is the new server smaller?

Yup, I've had to double delete 4 years of comments, think I have them all but it is irritating to have them dump into your contact email.

I see Nic told someone to change their settings but there is no way to do this, if you want to be notified you have messages in the first place. Guess there is more re-jigging, which it how it tends to go.

We are aware of the issue and should have it fixed soon. It is triggering an email whenever you mark your notification as read or deleted. Sorry for email overload!
