She had the sleeve done. I saw it in an article from one of the Canadian newspapers.

Just ran across this article on her surgeon, Dr Muffazal Lakdawala. He's very accomplished in the field of bariatric surgery (V.S.G. and RNY) in India and, based on another article in Wikipedia, has operated on a number of celebrities, inc. "Asia's Heaviest Man". He's also apparently a great humanitarian:

I know everyone loses at different rates and the more your starting weight, the more pounds you'll drop initially, but I'm still having trouble believing 661lbs in two months.

I suspect if that was the case, the majority of the loss was related to some resolution of lymphedema, not exclusively weight loss.
