Good Morning,

I am having surgery on Wednesday the 26th of July. I am having difficulty in swallowing solid food, I have been on soft foods for awhile. The barium swallow x-ray showed reflux and possible stricture. Has anyone had this surgery/procedure done? I was curious about pain and recovery? I thank everyone for the care and compassion everyone has for each other on this forum.

Are you having the stricture dilated?

My doctor said yes, try to use balloon.
