Hey everyone, hope you're well!
Was pretty excited. I've been training with my local run store (Fleet Feet) for a half marathon on March 4. Since I've been training, I've also signed up for a 2nd half on April 22 at Disney
I went from doing the couch to 5k app barely able to run 5 minutes to doing 3 miles and wanting to die, around July I think?
Now I'm banging out 5k's 4 times a week or further distances!
Did a 5k last Saturday and got 2nd in my age group :) (there were only 3 people, but still, I beat one person!)
My time was 28:36 which is pretty good, but my PR was on Thanksgiving day when I did 27:41!
I've really taken a liking to running, and completely stopped hitting the gym for weights which was my old favorite
Doing a 10k this weekend which will be my furthest distance run (so far is 5.05 miles, this is 6.2).
Wow! Huge accomplishment. Congrats!
That is awesome chris!

My first 1/2 marathon was at Disneyworld, in 2009. It remains my all time FAVORITE. All with ALL things Disney, they KNOW how to put on a production!!!
