5 months post-op. Doing great. No major issues. Out of the blue I have been FAMISHED for the past two days! Haven't had any major hunger issues until now.

what does a days menu look like for you? Eating carbs can cause hunger.

I get famished too, one year out, and I don't eat carbs. I think what helps is eating small amounts regularly to keep blood sugar stable. Andre you have acid reflux, then taking medication, as acid can mimic hunger. I was never hungry ya 5 months tho. Another thing to tell with hunger whether it is genuine is if you feel very fatigued or spacey mentally. That's a sign for me that I need to eat. Really, tho, the best is just to keep from getting hungry, and that means dense protein spaced regularly. I know everyone is different, but I have 5 lighter meals rather than 3 regular ones. Oh, and drink water too! That helps with my hunger. But best is to not get hungry in the first place as much as possible.
