I've never come across a guy who wasn't woo hoo grateful I was willing to get my kit off lol!

I think we worry about not looking like a super model far more than guys ever do!

You seem to be implying that I don't look like a supermodel.

My husband once told me, "Honestly, I don't care what your boobs look like. They're BOOBS, and the fact that I get to look at them automatically makes them the best boobs ever. So don't worry about it!"

I was happily married when I had surgery in 2004. I have since lost him and the question of dating is an interesting one with me being so far out and older LOL. Not sure how I would handle it, but will let you know if I go there

THANK you for saying this "out loud". I'm two years out and I have felt this way for so long. I try to remind myself that anyone worth getting naked with wouldn't be so shallow, but it's a block for me.

My sister had WLS two years before me and has no trouble dating--a lot. I have some contributing factors towards not being as care-free, but I wonder if plastic surgery is the answer.

Forgive me for being old fashioned, but why are you so worried about being nekkid so fast? I just don't understand the concept of hooking up.

When it comes to dating, try just that --- dating. Get to know each other, REALLY know each other before anything physical beyond kissing is even considered. Wait until the emotions and the mind is involved just as much in that celebration as the hands and body. If you have his heart and soul, the physical attributes become secondary and boy will it mean something to both of you!

The thing is that, we've been dating for over a year and never been intimate. We decided to start as friends as we've both been through things in the past. I know eventually intimacy will come. He's very aware of my issues. Thank you
