I can see my collar bones. This may be the first time I've ever seen them rather than pressing down and feeling through flesh and fat. I was surprisingly fascinated and moved by this small but meaningful victory.

Congratulations! That is always an exciting NSV. And then there will be more bones visible that were previously hidden as your WL continues.

This is still one of my favorite things, so I offer you a word of caution. Don't be like me and be so enthralled with your collar bones that you poke them a lot and bruise yourself ;)

Just wait until you find that little lump of gristle between your ribs at the top of your ribcage. I sincerely thought it was a cancerous thingy, but it's OK; it's called the xiphoid process, and it's cartilege, and it's perfectly normal, because it helps your ribcage flex.

And knees--when you can't find a comfortable place to put your knees when you sleep!!
