Anyone else catch this episode last night? Kelly was 725# when she consulted with Dr. Now. He found that she have a very weakened heart and set up what I though was a great plan to help her lose weight and strengthen her heart to be best prepared for surgery. She resisted at first- but eventually got on board and was doing so well. She lost down to 500ish # and got the sleeve done, then got down to 400. Then she died of heart failure. I was so sad- she worked so hard and was doing so good.

It really made me realize how bad obesity can be for you.

Her loneliness was so profound it poured out of the T.V., my heart ached for her. She slipped through the cracks as a child and even into adulthood. I was so proud of her when she finally got on board, Dr. Now really worked hard to help her. This was a very emotional episode.

Very sad because she really got on board with the program and was planning her future.

It was one of the first new episodes I have watched in a long time. I used to watch it religiously. Ugh this episode crushed me...I really wanted to see her succeed...It took her a little bit to get her butt in gear but she did..and she was doing everything she had to do and making her weights. Then suddenly she died..that is why it was so hard i think. Because she was doing everything right. It really put things in perspective for me..I wondered If I have done damage from all the years of Yo-Yo dieting. That episode gave me angina.

Even Dr. Now seemed destroyed that she passed. He does not show much emotion most of the time except when his patients do not follow his plan for their weight loss journey.

OK watched it and for it to happen just when she was getting her life back was so sad. As they said I guess the damage was too much. Thank goodness we all got a handle on our weight before it was to late.
