Happy Holiday - I have Missed You!

Just thought I'd drop in quickly and say Happy Holiday! I have no idea what I am eating and need to lose about 15 pounds, but I managed to stay the same weight through the eating this week (and am only 4 pounds above my weight in early June).

Some of you know via FB that my DH with dementia is now on hospice (went on in the hospital a week ago). Hopefully he can be transferred back to his memory care facility early next week and be supported there in a more comfortable setting.

I have missed you all, but I have been posting consistently in an OH VSG Maintenance group for support and accountability. Life this year with DH has been tumultuous at best so food planning has been tough.

Happy New Year!

When I was going through my husband's illness and hospital stays, I sometimes forgot to eat. One thing I remember was that the Cleveland Clinic sells only healthy food in its cafeterias. It really helped on the days when I forgot to bring something with me.

As everyone has said, it is so important to take care of yourself. I am glad you are getting some support from the VSG group. Wishing you and your husband a better new year.
