Newbie Here!

Hi! I'm new to the Obesity Help forums. I'm just now starting the process to get approved for WLS from my insurance company. I am hoping to have the VSG. My first consultation is in a couple of weeks. I look forward to reading everyone's posts and support as I move forward :)

We are in the same newbie boat here. Unfortunately it looks as though I am gonna have to travel ( only about 150 miles) to get a procedure my insurance will 90% cover otherwise I will be a "self-pay" patient....Where are you located? I'm in Portland Oregon.  

Welcome! I hope everything will progress smoothly with the insurance and then you will be well on your way to a new and wonderful life! Welcome I was approved on the 9th for vsg see surgeon on the 16th to get date for surgery.
