Oily Poop WFT!!!
I feel like I'm putting myself out there with this post. But I'm freaked and need answers lol. I'll try not to provide TMI. We all have heard "never trust a fart" right? First mistake!!!
Greasy, oily, liquidy, dark orange "poop". Like I swallowed a cup of castor oil or something. I'm thinking it's fat and if it's coming out the "other" end, it's not being absorbed right? So, that's kind of comforting, but haven't had this type of episode before. And don't want it to happen again. Trust me, I'm leaving out the really HORRIBLE details....
Nothing out of the ordinary as far as eating...just the regular stuff that I DON'T supposed to be eating
. The only thing new within the past 24 hours is that I changed the brand of my B vits and I tried my Nectar protein sample this morning.
Any thoughts?
Hoping someone else has had this type of thing happen also.

it happens every once in a while..........I had it in the beginning few months.......then nothing and as of late, it's happened (but only when I'm on the toilet)--I'm not near as gassy as I used to be, so I don't have the tooting problem too much, but I can't say it's never happened.
Just know that it is always a possiblity and keep some Dawn dishwashing detergent in your laundry room! It takes the stain out!

I TOTALLY have that happen from time to time, even 3 years out. Like the other poster said, it's oil. When it's really orange for me, it's usually because I ate a tomato-based sauce that was made with some type of liquid-at-room-temperature oil. (For example, pasta sauce or enchilada sauce that was made with olive oil or vegetable oil.) The oil just slides on out with some people, especially if you're not eating carbs with it. It's nothing to worry about; just proof that your malabsorption is working. :-)
Did you have a large quantity of marinara sauce shortly before it happened? I have *never* experienced oil slicks, even when eating tons of fat, except for this one time I had meatballs in a whole bunch of marinara sauce.
I've seen other posters remark something similar, so I thought I'd mention it, since this sounds like an isolated incident.
