Question about iron infuson

The hematologist I have seen and saw yesterday says because my hemoglobin is a tad low like 10.4 (low at 11.7) says i need another iron infusion set, 2 of them. He says Feraheme is the "cadillac of infusions." I had asked about something else because I did n't feel the Feraheme did such a great job in Feb '10. He said Vey nofer and Imfed are old ones and not so great any more. I had no problems whatsoever with Feraheme, but it just did not seem to "pick me up" as I had hoped. Should I be feeling something more uplifting a month or so after the 2nd infusion? Is it true that a good iroon level may hhelp someone lose weight easier? I have been stuck for quite a while and want to lose another 20-30 pounds maybe.

My iron in begin of Feb '11 was 65  (37-170). Is this good?

I must add that I have been feeling very under the weather, very fatigued (3-4 naps a day sometimes), irritable, moody, breakthrough depression (I am on max of Effexor a day, have been for years), muscle aches/pains. Don't know if this related to my iron issues. The hema thought maybe i have chronic fatigue syndrome?  I will be seeing my PCP shortly.
