Ok,... vits bought (mostly chewable) .... check.
Broth bought... check.
Water bottles to keep on top of amount ingested.  Check.
Koolaid popsicles made... check.
Stuff to take with me to surgery...
Toiletries...tampons (grrrrr)...babywipes... slippers... book and Ipod... check check check...
Ok kids.... Surgery is 7 am Monday.
Cya on the other side...

I would ditch the tampons and bring pads instead. There was no way I would have been able to position myself to insert a tampon even a week after surgery. (I'm 10 days out.)

I hope your surgery goes well. First few days out are pretty awful. Don't be a tough-girl, take the pain meds. When they come to make you walk push that pain pump a couple of times first. After taking me off the pain pump my nurses got to where they would bring me liquid pain meds and then come back 15-30 minutes later to have me walk so they had a chance to kick in.
