Wisconsin DS'ers - I'll be in Oconomowoc next week

 I am traveling to Oconomowoc to take a world music drumming course at the Olympia Resort next week.    I will be there from Sunday June 26 to Friday afternoon, July 1.    Although the course has evening activities planned, I'm sure I will be allowed to come and go as I please for those.   I am very unfamiliar with the area, as I've never been past the Greater Milwaukee area, but will have a car.    If anybody is interested in meeting up, please let me know!

If you get a chance, I would check out online first to see what "fest" they're having on the Summerfest Grounds, which is right along the lake (Lake Michigan) on the east side of Milwaukee.  Some cool stuff, fun festivals.  Summerfest might even be going on right now.  After that, they tend to have various ethnic & musical festivals each weekend after the 2 weeks that Summerfest is "in session", held on the same grounds.

Some stand will offer freshly fried cheese curds & I would SOOO indulge, gluten & all, if I were you!!!  SOOOO YUMMMMMYYYY.

Summerfest begins June  29... it's pretty fun... lots of live music... and food of course!!

I'll probably only have a couple of hours in the evening to get out, so anything between Oconomowoc and wherever you live that you think might not be too hard for me to navigate would be great.  THis is going to be a very intense course, but by evening, I might be ready to make a break for it.   Tuesday the 28 or Wednesday the 29th would probably work best for me.

 Hey Julie! If you guys figure out a time, let me know so that I could try to find a sitter for my girls. I would love to meet you!

 Either day works for me, but Wednesday might be a bit better. Have we decided on a place yet? I'm not too familiar with the Oconomowoc area.
