Got a date and now my brain is running a mile a minute.

didn't think it would happen, but I am on the schedule for July 20th.  I am going to be so tired before I even get to that day.  I have an apt on the 13th, 14th, 15th, 18th and 19th to be ready for the 20th.  Oh my.  I need to get stuff in order around here too and do some fun stuff with my kids before I am recovering for I am not sure how long.

I was just so frustrated the past few days with the wait and started having second thoughts about it because I worry about the money (self pay!!!) and absorpt. issues of vites.  Then I get an e-mail today with a date. Such mixed feelings.  I just want to get past the recovery and pray I can get rid of my sleep apnea that is making me sooo tired!

OH is my support! Only my parents and hubby will know about this.  I have been burned before, I don't want peoples opinions so I am not telling them.  I told that to one DR. who said they will ALL know in a few months when I am dropping weight.  I didn't think that was nice of him.  I am going gluten free so that and my exercise will have to be my excuse.

Funny how we wait and wait and I am now in a panic. lol  I am so worried about gas that I have already ordered Devrom, probiotics and just one drop for the potty:) I will avoid the carbs as much as possible. Lord, please just don't let me have gas in church!..EVER!!

Congratulations!!!! It sounds like the next two weeks will be crazy. TAKE A DEEP BREATH! I'm a list maker, so that's often how I organize and cope with stress.

Best wishes!!

Congrats Mel!!

Perfectly normal to feel jittery before surgery!!!  Keep busy, do what  you need to so your home is in order (nice when you're recuperating) and have some fun with your kiddos!!!

Get some rest.  You really don't want to be exhausted going into surgery.  :-)

Who is your surgeon??

You won't "fail" this time - promise!  The DS is a powerful tool - and if you follow "the rules" you will be losing like crazy!!!  Get ready for the ride!!!

July 20th will be here before ya know it - then you'll be switched and on your way to no more sleep apnea and a better, healthier life!!!

12 days, Holy WOW!!

You're going to do great! About the gas, everyone is different. If I stay away from white flour I harly ever fart. I eat 100% whole wheat everything. You can find lots of stuff! I make the sugar free peanut butter flourless cookies. I partake in icecream on occasion. The DS life is wonderful. You'll learn how your body reacts to different things. Just adjust accordingly! I had those fleeting moments of doubt about having surgery. They were just that, fleeting! This is the best decision I have ever made for me! Won't be long you'll be on the losing side of things, loving your very own DS! We're here for ya!

 Congrats on your date!

It's a lot to take in and of course it's a big surgery so naturally you are nervous!

Hang in there .. and it sounds like you have a lot to keep you busy.  Pretty soon this part will be over and behind you!

((hugs))
