Need advice: My D is 133

Doctor's office  just called and told me to stop all D supplements.  (my internist)

My D is 133 with normal being 32-100.

Vitamin D council states Toxcity threshold level = 200-250, so I think I'm ok.  Just wondering:
how much to cut back and for how long?
and when should I retest?

I've been battling low for D a long time.   Guess I have finally won.  My recent regimine for the last few months has been:

200 K dry Vitalady capsules  (100 K at two times during the night (so on an emptly stomach) taken along with 50K dry A and 400 dry E and sometimes a calcium citrate dose

10 to 20k sublingual during the day  (I forget my 2nd dose about 50% of the time, so it might average out to 15K per day.

And about 15 minutes of sun per day, mostly on my legs

I would start backing off slowly (1 capsule at a time) over about 3 months time and retest. I wouldn't go any lower than 50K a day and maybe 100K 3 times a week, then retest.

I came in at 137 in Feb and I backed off from 70K a day to 50K and dropped to 98 Jun. My RD said bump it back to 70K 5 days a week and 50K 2 days a week.

My PCP was gone, and the dr covering called because my D was 144, I didn't believe it came up that much in less than 3 mo, when I've been working on it for 3 yrs.  So I cut back to 50k from 100k, next retest 2 weeks later it was 114.  I think Kaiser is doing the next instead of sending it out and I'm not too worried.  I did complain a little when I told the dr I wasn't worried about my D, but my potassium was 3.2 and I was more worried about it dropping further.  I just increased my presc potassium for the next week.  Thanks for the reminder, I need to go back in and have a few rechecks done.  I don't want to wait until my D is back at 62!

I do think that taking my dry vitamins in the middle of night has really helped.
ETA:  I do add an extra A & D a couple of times a week.

I'd be thrilled personally and wouldn't change a thing except maybe stopping sun without sunscreen.  And I'd retest in 3 months.

Stopping all your D?  Ridiculous and stupid.  Maybe backing off on the sublinqual would be a rational response, but stopping all of it.  No way.

I would never STOP. If you want to try life with 100k now (cutting in half), can you test again in 90 days?

Stopping completely scares me, esp if you have had to work this hard to get it up there. If it drops again, will you be so lucky again?
