lansoprazole *prevacid* disintegrating vs capsule

Okay the office is not open right now and this is not an emergency so for now i just want to ask you guys.


Doctor prescribed for me DISINTEGRATING prevacid, my insurance only covers this formulation of it with a preauthorization. The office will not open until Monday so i sitll will not be able to get a preuthorization tomorrow.

Is there any reason that i can not just crack a capsule open and dilute in water? 

I see no harm in diluting the prevacid in water.

But...

When I had my sleeve and my DS, I wasn't given prevacid or anything like it.  So if you can't stomach the taste, I doubt it's necessary if you want to wing it for two days until Pomp's office opens on Monday morning.

How's the gas doing?

the gas x helps.

I am relieved that i didnt shart all over the car. seriously, THIS IS NOW  A POSSIBILITY. I am never sure.

1) Never trust a fart unless you're home and near clean clothing to change into
2) The sharting will probably happen at some point.  If in doubt, wear a pad
3) Iron REALLY firmed up my poo.  Try to take iron first thing in the morning as soon as you can stomach it. 

So happy the Gas-X helps.  It didn't do **** for me.  Or maybe it did but the damn seroma/abscess pain was too bad that I didn't notice the pain difference.
