Surgery scheduled for Monday July 25, 7 AM

Finally home from Ohio.  Both my dads are in heaven now (My dad passed Feb 7 and my wonderful father-in-law passed July 10). 

My surgery for ventral hernia repair and panniculectomy has been moved up due to severity of ventral hernia. 

I am nervous but ready to get on with this.  I thank God everyday for my DS.  I cannot even imagine what life will be like without this pannis or hernia for that fact. 

Wish me luck.  I hope depression stays at bay cause I have had enough this year.

Wow, Carla, you've really been through it.  Best wishes for a successful surgery and uneventful recovery.  C'mon flat stomach!

I am so sorry for your losses, that must make things very difficult for you. You are in my prayers.

It sounds like the best idea to have the surgery goon, so it is great it was moved up.

I'm so sorry for the loss of your father(s) and am sending hugs your way. 

I wish you an uneventful surgery with a speedy recovery.  I understand and live with depression myself so totally hope that it will not rear it's ugly head.
 

PS  My birthday is the 25th so you are having an awesome day to have it done.

Thank you all for the caring kind words.  It has been terrible with the losses but as Jenny said in her quote, I am looking for 100 reasons to smile now. 

I really dont know what to expect after surgery because I have felt pregnant for 22 years and my Blob hanging off the front of me has just been a part of my life that I always hated. 

I am nervous but so ready to do this.  The girls in the office tell me my PS is awsome and I will be amazed so I will hold on to that.
