I hope this works - I put together a nice chart-filled summary of labs and trends, and tried to post it to my post from Monday, but it didn't work.  Let's see if it works here.

OK, it didn't work - I'll try fewer charts at a time.

The first batch of results just came in.  I'm not going to post ALL of them, because some are just expected to be boring.  And every single one was in normal range.  But here are the "highlights":

PTH (remember my "minimalist" calcium intake):

Lipids: I couldn't put in the long-term charts, dammit - you can see how my levels came down after surgery, and have pretty much stayed low, except my TGs, which are still really good, but coming back up - these are the results from this week:

Dammit, I can't even cut and paste the most recent ones either (more tweaking - 10 more tries, and I still can't get this to work!):

Current values:
Total Cholesterol: 163
Triglycerides:  112 (higher than they've been in a long time, but still well in the normal range)
HDL: 63
LDL: 78
Cholesterol to HDL ratio: 2.6

Feh - I don't know how to do that.

Weird - it was only the lipids charts that wouldn't work.

Ferritin:
I am pretty disappointed with this:
Name Standard Range 7/20/2007 7/9/2008 3/18/2009 6/30/2009 10/9/2009 12/17/2009 7/6/2010 1/6/2011 3/28/2011 7/19/2011
FERRITIN 8-252 ng/mL 25 18 13 12 79 50 32 23 227 102
I had infusions in Sept. 2009, and again in March 2011.  But after a spectacular number in March, I went from 227 to 102 in 4 months??  Seriously??  I thought this round of infusions would last 2 years or more.

However, my iron looks better than that:
Name Standard Range 7/22/2004 7/23/2005 2/14/2006 7/18/2006 7/20/2007 7/9/2008 6/30/2009 7/6/2010 1/6/2011 7/19/2011
IRON 35-150 ug/dL 89 80 66 106 93 70 101 108 88 112

And my hemoglobin and hematocrit are OK too:

The other stuff that came in - CBC with diff, metabolic panel (including fasting blood sugar, calcium, total protein, albumin), copper, folate, magnesium, B12,  - all well within normal ranges.  Even my TSH (remember, I take my thyroid meds with my calcium) was fine.

One nice surprise - my elevated liver levels, which occurred after my medication fiasco with my PS in November 2009, have all come back down to normal, so I can cancel the liver ultrasound that my PCP wanted me to have if they didn't:

For those of you who are pre-op with early signs of cardiovascular disease, look at my WBC count, a sign of inflammation - or infection or leukemia, both of which they were testing me for during those couple of years:

My RBCs are pretty stable (on the low side), but when they went low, just before my PS, I got infused to fix it.

Still waiting on a bunch of other results, including all the fat soluble vitamins, CRP, and probably some other stuff I can't think of at the moment.  They will likely trickle in over the next few days.

So far, I'm not seeing any reason to change anything I'm doing - but I'm going to be very interested to see the rest of the levels, especially Vitamin D (I'm supplementing 50K IU/day) and Vitamin A (I'm not taking any).  I've never taken any Vitamin E, and have never needed it.  I take 3 Vitamin K1/week, and had to cut back from 1/day after my K went too high.

here is a link for google doc's which can give you an idea of how to set up the spreadsheet. It gives you a demo once you sign in (or create a google acct):

http://www.google.com/google-d-s/spreadsheets/

I may do a 'how to' post one of these days for everyone because I don't think a lot of people know the amazingness that is google docs and how useful it can be!!

Thanks - I think I'm going to skip it for now, because I was supposed to be doing work while I fooled around with this - but I know where to find it now!
