Well as of yesterday that is. Unfortunately I am in the ICU but not becuase of the surgery. My breathing wasn't so good so they left me intubated..............Long story but I am doing quite well now even though I am still in the ICU. Looking forward to getting on the bariatric floor and even more looking forward to starting my new life on the dak side!

Unfortunately, I had to delete this post due to privacy concerns.

Got a lap band in 2008. Tried hard, but didn't lose much weight & developed swallowing problems. Fought my insurance company for almost a year & finally had a band to DS revision on 5/11/12. Have now lost 125 pounds. Yay!

You seem to be doing good considering it's day 2! :) I also had problems breathing after the surgery. My dr keeps you on the CCU/ICU floor for a few days anyway just because of the severity of the surgery. I didn't make it to the bariatric floor until day 3.

Keep up your good spirits! I look forward to more updates when you come home!
