Final Appointment with DR Roslin Tomorrow B4 surgery next Tuesday!

Ok I will admit that Monday of this week I was going down the list of what if's... Thinking and crying and thinking and crying... thinking about my daughter and if something goes wrong... I finally resigned myself to the fact that if something is to happen during surgery that it was my time..... So I let that go....

I am feeling... Nervous... Excited... Sad.... Happy... Elated.... Ready.... Not-Ready.....I know that this is the first step for the rest of my life.... but its a scary step... I know that you all know where I am coming from.... Just venting really... ready for Tuesday to come...

What were some of the things that you guys did prior to surgery to keep your mind off all the variables..... I have music... my book... a Journal.... Cleaning my house prior to me leaving... anything else you can think of?????

I'm pre-op so I have no advice, just wanted to send you lots of good vibes for a successful surgery and quick recovery! =)

Hey Jody, I wish you all the best with your procedure. I'm on my journey now and so far I have completed one month of my 6 month supervised physicians diet. I will be getting my sleeve early next year. I am sending prayers and positive thoughts your way. I totally love love Dr Roslin and he is definetly the man. I wouldn't even have weight loss surgery if he wasn't my surgeon. Your in good hands and I believe he cares.
You just have to believe that you will be fine and you will.

YAY JODI! im sorry i didnt responsed to the msg you sent me about your approval but im so happy you are almost there! Think positive! I know you wont be allowed to have this in the hospital but i would have gas-x close at hand for after the surgery (i remember the gas pain after the lapband and saw this was on the list for post op DS also and TOTALLY plan to have some with me, whenever that may be!)

WE are all set for Tuesday!!

Jody! Tuesday will come and go and you will do great.  Remember to keep inhaling and exhaling and just keep moving and this will be one giant step in your awesome path to a brand new life!
