I've got my surgery date!!!!
It's December 14th!
Ironically, that is the day before my 52nd birthday, so I will be starting the year (and the rest of my life) our on a different track. I like it!
So far, the nerves haven't set in. I'm not stupid enough to think they won't/
I just feel very calm and clear and ready.

Yes, It really is exciting.
I am looking at it as a gift, and what better season for the gift of a better future?
I know I will be somewhat, possibly extremely, uncomfortable for my birthday and Christmas this year, but hopefully I will be able to keep it all in perspective. That is how I am formulating it in my mind now, and that will set the pattern.
