Approved for DS Revision!!!

I am 5 years post-op sleeve.  Highest weight was 425.  Lowest weight with the sleeve was 236.  I stayed there for about 2 seconds and started gaining back no matter how little I ate and how much I exercised.  At my DS consult, I weighed in at 345. 

I got my approval notification from the Doctor's office yesterday afternoon and now all I have to do is schedule.  My insurance is paying 80% but I have to come up with the other 20% plus deductible, hospital co-pay, hotel stay for a week...  etc...  All in all, I probably need about $3500 to cover all of those costs.  So scheduling will have to take place at a later date since I will need at least until October to come up with those funds.

But I'm approved and that takes a huge weight off my shoulders.

Congrats!!!!! You should have been given the DS from the start, but so glad you are getting the second part now!!!!

Lauren!  I'm 5 years too!  How are you!!!   It seems like yesterday we were swapping recipes.  Life is good for me.  I am at 123, which is pretty good.  Naturally, I still feel fat... but such is life.  How is the fam bam?
