Maintaining is hard ... and not just the way you think.

I started trying to loose a regain last Thanksgiving.  My jeans were all too small.  So small I couldn't wear them and had to buy new jeans in a larger size.  Boo Hiss.

Now I am tightening up my belt to keep my jeans ON.  I must still be loosing inches although the scale doesn't say I am loosing.

I know I will level off.  Right now I am doing a lot of dog training which is very active and walking my 1.4 miles per day.  I need to add some good carbs.

Congrats! I am finding it hard to re-lose the weight I gained. Thanks for the encouragement. It is nice to know that the scale does move down again.

HI Becky:

I just had some gain after an absolutely slothful winter of no exercise and eating too many carbs.    I've lost 3.6 pounds, but would like to lose about five more.    What'd you do to lose?  I've been just cutting carbs.   Now that the weather is almost ready to be nicer, I've got to get out walking.   Like others, I find that I lose REALLY slowly!

Hope all is well with you!

I went back to trying to eat the way I did during my weight loss phase.  Pulled out old low carb recipes. Added some new ones.  That was the only change really.  I dropped a jeans size but I'm not sure how much weight.

Standards now:  hamburger patties grilled with cheese on top, steak when I can afford it Bacon and fried eggs every day.  Polska sausage, ham and cheese "sandwiches" (no bread), fast food...all the bread thrown away.

fried cheese w/ splenda and SF syrup

Greek yogurt with SF jelly and splenda

Cream cheese and egg "Poofs" with butter cinamon and splenda

Broks pizza

Atkins frozen dinners

Atkins bars limited to one a day

WATER
