So close I can taste it!!!
I'm almost 11 months out from my VSG to DS and I as of this morning, I am 9... N.I.N.E... pounds away from my all time lowest weight!!! In 11 months, I've gone from 353 to 245. 9 more lbs until I lose the 117 that I managed to regain with my sleeve!
I've been shooting for this goal for so long it seems... Starting with the first 5 that I'd regained... then 10.. then 15... and so on. I finally feel like I can stop beating myself up for all the mistakes I made along the way and just focus on my journey to keep moving forward.
I still have such a long way to go... but I KNOW I'm gonna get there!!! From my highest, I'm down 180 lbs. 105 left to go!!! Whoot whoot!!!

Wonderful! So happy to see you be so successful with a VSG to DS revision. Who knows how skinny you'll be come the new year. :)
Lap-Band June 14, 2001. Dr. Rumbaut, Monterrey, Mexico.
Lap-Band removed after 7 years and converted to Sleeve Gastrectomy on July 7, 2008 by Dr. Roslin. I've had three happy healthy Lap-Band babies.... and one VSG baby. 5 years out from revision to VSG. Gained 55 pounds in past 5 months, now considering DS. :(
My journey has been anything but easy but I wouldn't trade the sense of peace the DS has brought me for anything.
Congratulations on your progress. I know it Is wonderful to feel as though your goals are finally in sight.
