Mucinex?

I think I am coming down with a cold.  It's starting to settle into my chest.  One thing I love about taking all these vitamins is that I don't get sick - my first cold.

So I whipped out a box of Mucinex with expertorant.  It says 12 hour release, so I thought I would just cut them in half to absorb more of it before it runs through my system.  The box states not to cut the pill...

What do you use for an expectorant?  Do you cut the Mucinex pills in half?

I would cut it in half too. Our transit time is so fast I doubt you would break it down fast enough to be dangerous.

I can't even remember the last cold I had, but I think I used to get the generic Robitussin stuff with expectorant....
