Does Kaiser Do D'S in North California

Hi I haven't been here in a while. .curious if Kaiser offers THE DS...OR DO you still have go through DMHC route?

The latest is that Kaiser will send people with bmi over 60 to Dr. Rabkin for the DS, will also send people with bmi over 50 IF they ask for the DS (but they need to know to ask, which Kaiser doesn't tell them) and anyone with bmi below 50 still has to go through the appeals process to the DMHC. Where they can still win if they know what they're doing, and yes, help is still available for this.

What is the max age limit. .my coworker is 61

I'm pretty sure the max age limit with Kaiser is 65, so your coworker should be ok on that issue. If not, it's definitely yet another thing that could be appealed for someone who meets the standard criteria for medical necessity for bariatric surgery, assuming her health is good enough for major surgery.
