quick question:  for other DS vets, how far out from your surgery have you been able to kickstart a weight loss? I asked because I am approaching my 3 year anniversary and I want to see if I can restart a losing session. To be clear I have not bounced, i just want to see what's possible with this surgery. I even want to see how low it can go. in other words its experimentation time.

I can still lose a few pounds but I have to really cut back carbs and volume of food. I think the DS puts us back into normal mode, we can lose, we just have to work hard, just like anyone else.

some years ago I thought I rsome of the vets here say that 4 or 5 or more years after surgery they were able to continue losing just by going back to the basic nutrition Ds'_r

Ditto to what Majormom said. Although I do not gain weight as fast.
