Has anyone one experienced high liver enzymes after having the DS surgery ?

Still have high liver enzymes. Surgeon not too worried since they weren't extremely high only slightly elevated...not in the thousands. I think they may be coming in high due to all the vitamins I take.

Thank you Gina, So nice hearing from you, I thought about calling my surgeon, the heart doctor wants me to go to a GI doctor I think I will call Dr Alverdy first. Nice chatting with you 8 years out still so very pleased with my surgery.

Good to see you, as always, Sandy. Keep us posted about what the surgeon says.

People have even been put on transplant lists in error.  Always get a 2nd opinion before you even worry about it!  High enzymes post DS are common!

What happens if this matter gets to be a bit of a problem?

Don't know of anyone who has had a real problem yet.

And the ultimate answer for anyone with liver failure would be a transplant.
