Is there a cookbook for post ds surgery?

I see post bariatric surgery cookbooks but they are strong on protein and low fat. I need something that meets the need for increased fat for ds patients.

It's basically like Atkins Induction.  Just cook with butter!

I would look at Paleo cookbooks. High protein, high, good fats cooking and Paleo is huge right now so you can find cookbooks everywhere. What I like about Paleo is that food tastes GOOD. The main reason I went with DS is that I knew I didn't want to be on a diet the rest of my life. Paleo I have done before and you basically avoid the same things as on the DS diet: flour products, dairy, bad carbs. Not all Paleo avoid dairy, but milk is definitely frowned upon. I always kept eating cheese and greek yogurt.

I don't like eating fake food, artificial sweeteners, etc. I want real food that tastes good, then I am good.

I just had surgery so I am on liquids but I can't wait to eat real food again. For the liquid phase I am ingesting artificial sweeteners so I cannot wait to drop those. I hate the fake sugar taste.

That's my 2 cents worth...
