Dr. J. R. Salameh

So after having the band removed two and a half years ago I did not have a revision. I am now at my highest weight of 380 lbs at 5'11". I had to have an osteotomy and arthroscopic surgery done on my leg last year. Most of the time I am in pain but push through it. I am tired of pushing through it. So as I was revisiting the thought of DS surgery I see that Virginia now has another surgeon offering it. Has anyone had the DS done by Dr. Salameh?

Nope!  Never heard of him.  If the DS is what you want make sure this guy does the real thing, NOT the SADI/LOOP.  Ask lots of questions!

I've never heard of him either. His website indicates he does the DS, but I would recommend asking him specifically how many he's done, not just how many bariatric surgeries he's done, and making sure he plans on doing a real DS as the diagram on his website indicates.
