Im very confident with Dr. Aceves.  He has a Great! reputation,and that is why I am going to him, but Im always a precautious person.  On the other hand, I would love to just come home after the six day stay in the hospital.  I was just wondering what everyones thoughts were on extending my stay to make sure everything is ok before I come home?

I have always been someone that has to have something to drink right next to them all of the time, "even in the car".  I dont like coffie.  It used to be a pop, but for the past six years its mostly been watered down Kool-Aid.  Knowing Im going to have my surgery next month I have switched to Crystal Light to get used to surger free drinks.  I found, I love it, totally cool, Im safe. I even bought a whole bunck and took it over to her house so I have it on hand when I visit... I found my drink.  Yesterday, I found out on this site that, that is not a good thing "Crystal Light".  Now I dont know what to do.  I have tried drinking water, its ok for a day, but for the rest of my life!  After awhile it leaves a weird feel in my mouth...  NOW WHAT???  What do all of you drink, that you can drink FREELY all day.  Please dont suggest coffie, cause it isnt going to happen.  This might not seem like a big bump in the road to some, but to me it is....worried....     Your thoughts PLEASE

Yes, Im seeing how this can be very expensive.  I talked to someone else with a longer common channel "175", and she says she onley has to take 3 centrim silver, "generic version of"  a day, and suppliment calcium, and iron, because the iron and calcium that is in there isnt the kind we need.  Im thinking this is what Im going to try first...   Expense wise this sounds easy and doable. But that is with a longver common channel......

I guess I respond well to rules, and It would make it easy for me if I was just told a number.

My Dr. tends to leave them longer so you dont have vitiman issues, and poo, and gas issues.  Im just doing a little research before i have my surgery next month.  Im thinking about saying how about 125cm....lol  we'll see. have you had any of these issues?

Thanks everyone for your imput.  I just emailed my Dr. to finally set a date.  Im shooting for 3 week in may.  Gives me time to go on a liquid diet and shrink my liver for him...lol.  Southern lady, Im pretty sure your the same one I talked to alot about vitimans, and the common channel last week on another site...lol  We talked back and forth quite a bit for about three days..lol  Your sweet, and really eased my mind on the vitimans....well maybe Im still a little nervous, but mostly about EVERYTHING...lol  You've been a great friend and person to talk to about this, and I appreciate it.  These sites for the WLS communitiy are so important and valuable to weight loss surgery patients.  I cant imagine doing this without all of the support.  I love UTUBE also.
