Beggining DS journey, late 20's, married, 3 kids, military spouse

Hi,

I'm just starting out on my WLS journey. I'm currently living in Washington State and will be receiving my surgery at Madigan Military Treatment Facility. I'm scheduled for my first apt, an informational seminar, in mid-July, but I would love to find a pen pal that I could chat with and share info. I'm married and I have three wonderful children, two boys (ages 2 & 3)  and a four month old baby girl. 

More than any number on a scale, I think that what I most look forward to is achieving my dream of one day running and completing a marathon. Its something that I always wanted to do but because of my weight I never felt like it was achievable.

Hi Bianca, just joined this site today. Been on this journey since August 2013- it's been a year full of learning. I am in my 14 day pre-op liquid diet and my surgery is Tuesday Aug 5th.. Looking to find a pal to talk to about this process and get advice, support, etc.    I'm in Oregon!  😃
