First 1/2 marathon on Sunday

Running my first 1/2 on Sunday 3/25 in Dallas.  I was wondering how many miles a day and how many days up to it can I run?  I am getting antsy and do not want to be still all week.  Any advice.

The experts say week leading up is a light week. Monday, Tuesday maybe a 3 mile run. Thursday walk 2 miles or so, last few days rest.

 First MeFerg!!! CONGRATSsss I just did the Cowtown Half Marathon and was seriously considering doing the Dallas Half as well but I'm trying my hand at doing a triathlon this Saturday. When I was training for the Cowtown Half ... 7-10days before the race I ran a 10k about as fast as I could, 5-7 days I ran one medium to light run try to make it a run with hills (will help your hip flexors PROMISE!!) ... then 2-5 days before ... ONE 3-4mile run and one 3-4 mile walk ... rest the day before or two days before .... I'm not an expert nor do I claim to be ... but I truly think this helped me ... I wish you the best partner!!!  Thanks for the advice.  I have an app that told me to do a long run today.  I ran 10 and suppose to do 4 tomorrow easy and Wednesday 4 high tempo.  Walk or easy run on Friday and then Sunday race.  I ran the Cowtown 10k finished in 55:21.  Just hoping to finish the 1/2 in 2hr 45min.  Good luck on your Tri.
