I am so grateful that I get to do awesome stuff like bicycle from Seattle to Vancouver with five other cyclists (one didn't make this picture!).  Thank you, thank you, thank you to my sleeve! I did come home weighing 3 lbs. more than when I left.    ?       But that just has to be fluid, right????   Bike computer stats:      Distance:204.99 mi    Elevation Gain: 6,037 ft    Avg Speed: 16.4 mph    Calories: 10,480 C

WOW!!!! That is AMAZING!!! And, yes, I'd assume the fluids you took in just hung around b/c there's no way you burned 10,480 cal and DIDN'T lose weight. Happy recovery (including peeing all that fluid out!)

Please consult your surgeon & nutritionist for how to do it their way.  Biggest regret? Not doing this 10 years ago! Every day is better than the day before...and it was a pretty great day!

YAY FOR YOU!!!!   A double century is a huge accomplishment. You should celebrate in a big way.

Did you do this over 2 days?

I am envious. I always wanted to do a century ride, but never got past about 80 miles in a day. It's now one of my weight loss goals and I'm in my 60s. You're my new hero!
