Weekend workouts/training/etc

Got my running mojo back this week, so I'm really happy again!

Saturday: trail run, maybe around 10 mi (so weekly mileage will be around 50+)

Sunday: another half-marathon (going on 11, I think, including 2 trail half-marathons) but not gonna race it as it's part of our marathon group. ETA: did the race in 2:18:07 (gun time 2:26:08, b/c we just HAD to stop for selfies! And bathroom breaks. And more selfies! But time wasn't too shy of last year's 2:15:38, so it's all good!)

First ultra: Stone Mill 50 miler 11/15/14 13:44:38, First Full Marathon: Marine Corps 10/27/13 4:57:11Half Marathon PR 2:04:43 at Shamrock VA Beach Half-Marathon, 12/2/12 First Half-Marathon 2:32:47, 5K PR  Run Under the Lights 5K 27:23 on 11/23/13, 10K PR 52:53 Pike's Peek 10K 4/21/13(1st timed run) Accumen 8K 51:09 10/14/12.

Ah, doing the Navy-AF Half? Awesome! I'm doing Parks Half-Marathon, so staying in Maryland, but I think it's the first time that MD and DC have had Halfs going on at the same time on the same day!

Yeah, we were pretty surprised to see two halfs on the same day in the area.  We're down in Southern Maryland, so the Navy/Air Force one is actually closer.  :)  I had fun cheering him on and getting my steps in wandering around.

I've realized that I'm more important than food is. I love a big slice of pizza, but I love myself more. Being thin is about changing the way you think about yourself.
